One of the largest aircraft manufacturing companies in the world, Airbus, in the first half of this year, increased deliveries of aircraft by 28% compared to the same period last year. The figure reached 389 aircraft, indicating that in 2019 the European concern could complete a record number of aircraft delivered, bypassing its American rival Boeing. In the first six months of the year, Boeing shipments fell by 37% year-on-year to 239 aircraft. Sales of 737 MAX aircraft, the deliveries of which have shown zero levels over the past three months due to the prohibition of their use for commercial flights after two air crashes, is played an important role. All efforts of the Boeing management are currently aimed at the resumption of operation of these aircraft.
