In April, Norway reduced oil and condensate production by 1.8% compared to the previous month to 1 million 868 thousand barrels per day, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said. Norway reduced oil production by 0.5% compared to March and by 11.4% in annual terms to 1 million 513 thousand barrels per day. The reduction was caused by repair work and minor technical problems in a number of fields. Preliminary NPD calculations showed that in the first quarter the total volume of hydrocarbon production in the country was about 79.5 million cubic meters of oil equivalent.
