The retail sales in Canada decreased in May by 0,1%

The decline of retail sales was observed in Canada. According to the country statistics office in May it declined by 0,1% to 51,5 billions canadian dollars. The negative dynamics of indicator is noticed first time during four months. The sales decline was in four from 11 sectors of retail sales. Food sales reduced in reporting month by 2%, clothes and accessories — by 2,7%, other goods — by 1,1%. At the same time, cars and car spares sales increased by 0,5% in May while sales on the gas stations grew by 3,5%.
